For the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 we built a pre-match ceremony previz and a set of stadium screen graphics in the tournament’s look.
The previz shows the whole ceremony in a virtual stadium before anyone steps on the grass. In one version performers carry fabric panels that form a giant trophy across the pitch. In the enhanced version the trophy rises at the centre circle, framed by pyro, beams and LED ribbon boards, while two flag carpets open for the teams.
Alongside it we designed the screen package: a logo sting, stadium idents for Al Janoub Stadium and Khalifa International Stadium, a kick-off countdown with both teams’ flags and a goal banner.
