Fixiki in Wonderland was a New Year mega-show at Crocus Expo in Moscow, built around the favourite cartoon heroes of a young audience.
We made the content for the giant screen behind the stage. Each scene got its own animated world: a castle with stained-glass windows, a gothic hall, a city of rooftops, a magical forest, a machine city and a snow queen in the clouds.
Live actors in costume played in front of the screen, so every world was drawn to sit behind the cast — with doors, windows and stairs lined up with the action on stage.
