Seven years on one facade.
A short film from our Manege archive — live footage from the square and clean renders of the shows.
The building we know by heart.
From 2012 to 2018 we came back to the facade of the Manege Central Exhibition Hall again and again — more than 12 mapping shows and over 200 scenes built for the same columns, arches and pediment.
It started at the 2012 Circle of Light festival, where our pieces on the Manege took first place. After that the facade became our regular canvas: spring and New Year shows, Christmas, sport, art history and the people of the city.
Every show was made for this one building. We rebuilt its architecture in light, broke it apart, turned it into an aquarium, a greenhouse and a toy town — and always brought it back to its classical shape at the end.
Show after show, season after season.
The main stories we told on the Manege facade.
