Four stories, one palace.
Concerts, a winter show and a bird of light — live footage from the park and renders of the full palace canvas.
Music written onto architecture.
For two seasons the Grand Tsaritsyno Palace was our stage. We made concert mappings where every song has its own world — and a festival show about the palace itself.
For the Soprano concert we created about 60 minutes of content: Venice, the sea, a casino, a library, the moon — each song turned the facade into a new place. For Dmitry Malikov’s concert we built 13 mappings, one for every song.
In winter the palace became a New Year’s Workshop full of toys. At the Circle of Light festival in 2018 we showed The Odyssey Palace — the story of the palace’s soul travelling the world as a bird of light, past Big Ben, Gaudí and the Taj Mahal.
The whole palace as one screen.
The facade is long and low, so every scene was built as one ultra-wide canvas and checked in previz before the show.
The palace, filmed from the crowd.
Footage from the festival night — the palace and the people in front of it.
From a sketch to the sky.
