The whole show, in render.
The full content of the mapping on the university’s main building, from the first ornament to the final relight.
Two artists, one tower.
For Sberbank at the Circle of Light festival we mapped the main building of Moscow State University with a show based on the art of Ivan Bilibin and El Lissitzky.
The show starts with Bilibin’s fairy-tale world: waves, ornament and a golden sun spreading across the wings of the building. Then it turns into Lissitzky’s avant-garde — bold type, red shapes and blocks that pull the tower apart and put it back together.
In the finale the building is relit in its own architecture, with golden figures at its base. The content was built for the full width of the facade and its tall central tower.
From folk tale to avant-garde.
Moments from the show — clean render of the content on the facade.
