Project Introduction
As the creative lead Naos Studio had the privilege of overseeing the development of the "360 Experience" — a fully immersive projection-based narrative designed for the ceremonial Orion Hall. Our team produced approximately 30 minutes of content, including 10 minutes of unique, high-fidelity visuals mapped across a 30×30 meter space. The installation transformed the venue into a living canvas, with a 360-degree projection enveloping the audience in a cinematic environment. The narrative explored themes from ancient culture, sacred forests, and symbolic angelic transformations, offering an emotional and artistic journey that captivated viewers during the venue’s first formal dinner event.
Solution
Redefining Event Spaces through 360° Projection Mapping
Our challenge was to create a rich, atmospheric experience that could redefine the potential of Orion Hall as a venue for high-end immersive events. From the start, our goal was to blend high-definition visual storytelling with seamless spatial integration. Every pixel, every lighting cue, and every motion sequence had to serve the storyline while maintaining full environmental coherence within the circular projection space.
Cinematic Visual Development for Immersive Environments
We began by extensively sketching and storyboarding the core scenes, focusing on mood, spatial depth, and storytelling flow. The narrative was structured to evolve smoothly around the audience, taking them on a symbolic journey through mythical, natural, and spiritual worlds. We developed layered compositions and used advanced 360 projection techniques to simulate architectural depth and expand the perceived boundaries of the hall.
Content Production for Large-Scale 360 Experiences
Each stage of the production—from concept to final render—was approached with meticulous attention. Our team coordinated closely across departments, ensuring consistent quality through animation reviews, shader development, and immersive spatial tests. The end result was not just a visual spectacle but a compelling storytelling experience that demonstrated Orion Hall’s capacity to host world-class multimedia events.
Result
Through this project, we successfully transformed Orion Hall into an immersive storytelling venue, demonstrating how detailed visual development, precise 360° projection techniques, and seamless production coordination can redefine the capabilities of ceremonial spaces. Our work combined emotional narrative flow, lifelike depth creation, and technical excellence, resulting in a captivating multimedia experience that set a new standard for immersive event production.
