Project Introduction
For the landmark LNG expansion project by QatarEnergy, Naos Studio crafted an immersive multimedia experience that blended cinematic storytelling, real-time 3D installations, and interactive content. Collaborating with QVision and Leva Studio, our team transformed the groundbreaking moment into a visually spectacular celebration—highlighting Qatar’s energy leadership through a dynamic stage design, kinetic flyovers, and a high-tech welcome area. From concept to execution, every element was designed to reflect the scale, ambition, and future-forward vision of the North Field Complex.

Event Venue Layout
Naos crafted an unforgettable multimedia show for the groundbreaking ceremony of Qatar Energy's North Field Expansion project, in collaboration with QVision agency.
This high-profile event highlighted Qatar's ambitious LNG production increase. The challenge was to create a multimedia spectacle conveying the groundbreaking nature of the North Field Expansion project while highlighting Qatar Energy’s innovative spirit and leadership.
We combined immersive installations and infotainment to balance the experience and information in the welcome area for visitors.
Stage Design
Best Practices from Live Events to High-Protocol Stage
Our initial approach included synchronizing lasers and content on the screen and providing kinetic light show, elevating the immersive experience.
Multi-Layerd Stage design
The project's core is developing the world's largest single non-associated gas reservoir with five production platforms, 50 wells, and gas pipelines. Main video. Launch moment
For the main video script, as a launch moment of the ceremony, we showcased the journey of treasures from deep underground, stored in a seashell for thousands of years, brought to the surface to imbue new energy and make the world a better place.
This video narrative was depicted through the construction of additional platforms and the expansion of infrastructure.
Storyboard. Discover brand values
It was important for us to highlight the significance of nature in the storyboard, making the video's narrative original, evocative, and deeply сonnected to the brand values.
Launch device
The groundbreaking gestures has evolved, now emphasizing a blend of simplicity, technological innovation, and aesthetic appeal. This new approach must maintain traditional meanings while offering a more refined presentation. Taking inspiration from offshore platforms, stone motive and mlecular structure we came up with few inauguration devices for launch moment.
Final Design. Wow moment for ground breaking ceremony
In the final stage client decided to go with direct representation of off-shore structures, together with our technology partner, the multi-disciplinary studio Leva, we have developed a unique and technologically advanced device.
The Immersive Welcome Area
In the welcome area, we aimed to provide an engaging and informative experience that showcased the project's plans.
To achieve this, collaborating with OptionOne studio and Leva studio, we created a blend of immersive and mood-enhancing installations.
We developed a space that combined cutting-edge technology with compelling storytelling, ensuring visitors were both informed and inspired from the moment they arrived.
Concept development
Our initial research generated around 20 ideas, from which we selected 8 to develop into tailored multimedia installation concepts. These installations served ideal for providing a captivating blend of immersive experiences, informative displays, and mood-setting elements.
Info-point. All facts in one place
The Info-Point installation served as an ideal solution to present all relevant data interactively and visually. Users could explore facts and information presented through engaging 3D infographics, making complex information accessible and enjoyable.
User experience
Designed by Leva Studio to optimize user experience, the Info-Point allowed visitors to seamlessly explore key aspects of the project. By offering a selection of 10 different topics, users had the freedom to delve into specific areas of interest. The short, engaging 3D infographics ensured that information was conveyed clearly and memorably, enhancing both understanding and retention.

Naos, in collaboration with Leva Studio, developed a detailed model of the offshore and onshore aspects of the North Field Expansion Project.
Using the provided schemes, we crafted a comprehensive representation that highlights both the aesthetic and technical intricacies of the project. The model was built from scratch, ensuring accuracy in engineering details and visual appeal.
User experience
Designed by Leva Studio to optimize user experience, the Info-Point allowed visitors to seamlessly explore key aspects of the project. By offering a selection of 10 different topics, users had the freedom to delve into specific areas of interest. The short, engaging 3D infographics ensured that information was conveyed clearly and memorably, enhancing both understanding and retention.
The content assets for the Object Table included meticulously designed 3D models and blueprints. The use of crystal stones to unlock information added an element of interactivity, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. The accurate engineering details were complemented by beautiful visual content, providing a holistic view of the project's scope and impact.
Kinetic AR Flyover. See the Whole Flow of Product Production
The Kinetic Flyover installation provided an immersive real-time render experience of the North Field Expansion project. This installation allowed visitors to explore a detailed 3D model of the entire facility, showcasing the production and shipping processes. The meticulous 3D assets were displayed on a large 7-meter screen, offering a comprehensive view of the project's scope.
User experience
Visitors could interact with the Kinetic Flyover installation using tailored gesture-based controls.
This innovative approach enabled users to fly over the entire facility, following a guided path or freely exploring in any direction. The gesture controls added a dynamic and engaging element to the experience, making it accessible and exciting for all visitors.
The content for the Kinetic Flyover included high-quality 3D models of the North Field Expansion project, meticulously crafted to reflect every detail of the production process. The installation featured a 7-meter screen to present these assets, ensuring a visually stunning and informative experience. The real-time render allowed for seamless navigation and exploration, providing an in-depth look at how the product will be produced and shipped.
A Visual Spectacle: 3D LED Array Holograms
NAOS Studio and OptionOne unveiled a 3D LED array, creating complex holograms that enlivened the event space. This captivating centerpiece displayed key project data and live-tracked user movements, enhancing the interactive experience.
Visitors experienced cutting-edge interactivity with gesture-based controls. They transformed gas molecules into intricate patterns through their movements, making the visual experience dynamic and engaging.
Robotic ARM: Brings Future into focus
NAOS Studio in this concept showcased a robotic arm concept that scanned a mock-up surface, revealing the project's future. This innovative installation could demonstrated advanced technology and precision and was not integrated into layout.
Branding development. Screensavers
One of the important parts of the event was branding. The NAOS Studio version was presented based on the idea of molecules and their structure. Meanwhile, the final design referred to Arabic calligraphy and the important messages of the event. We developed 3D design branding versions content to ensure a smooth link between the content part and the protocol part of the event during speeches, CEO speech, the inauguration moment, the opening ceremony, and other important protocol content parts during live events.
